The United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry operate libraries in the Township of South Stormont, in facilities provided by the Township.
How to Become a Member?
Library memberships are available free of charge to all residents and students of Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry. To become a member, simply present your proof of address and photo identification at any of their full service library branches in the Counties. Children and teens under the age of 16 require the permission of their parent/guardian. Membership cards expire annually and can be renewed upon payment of any outstanding late fees.

The SDG County Library offers a Library Express service depot to members who live in the Township of South Stormont. This alternative service is available due to a partnership with the owners of the Crossroads Convinence Store.
With a SDG Library membership card, members can request books, DVDs and audiobooks online and the requested items will be delivered each week to the Crossroads Convinence Store.
Newington - Little Free Library

The Newington Little Free Library is run by local volunteers and provides an alternative access point for reading materials. It complements the services provided by branches and work on the 'take a book, leave a book' philosophy.
